Resident families and guests are always welcome to enjoy a meal while visiting. A
beautiful private dining room is also available for private parties and celebrations such
as birthdays, anniversaries and other family related gatherings. Glendale Senior
Dining will proudly provide any dining needs and arrangements for special occasions
to insure a perfect outcome.
Independent Living Residents are entitled to daily dinner services and may purchase
breakfast and lunch in Jennie’s Café as desired.
Assisted Living and Memory Care Residents will participate in daily breakfast, lunch
and dinner services along with snack services any time of day.
Special diets and food allergies will be carefully provided as directed. The Glendale
Senior Dining culinary team goal is to consistently provide fresh, healthy, nutritious
meals that we are proud to serve to the Scott Farrar Resident population.
Lastly, if there is a dish that you would like added to our menu, please let our Chef

Meet Debbie

I grew up in Haverhill, MA as one of 6 siblings to Normand & Lorraine Fournier. During my high school years I took my first job in North Andover as a dietary aide at Prescott House and then moved to Hannah Dustin Nursing & Rehab in Haverhill until graduation. I graduated Newbury College with a degree in Culinary Arts & Applied Sciences. There I learned all types of cuisines, front and back of the house AND even got to meet Julia Childs!!! I also had the experience of touring Europe for almost 4 weeks with some of my classmates. After my internship with the Sheraton Rolling Green in Andover,MA I continued on as a chef in the main dining room where a big band played every Saturday night and the dance floor was always overflowing! (I and my fellow chefs had many opportunities to dance to “In the Mood” by Glenn Miller (always the highlight of the night)! The cooking line was open to the dining room so it was lots of fun.
I’ve worked in Long Term care for most of my career and was the owner of “A Taste of the Good Life” personal chef service & Catering. I soon learned working by myself for myself wasn’t for me as I’m a people person just like my parents and siblings. I have 24 years of service with Salemhaven Nursing & Rehab. I also have experience in assisted living as a chef manager at a few wonderful communities.
I have 2 children Kelsey (a Navy veteran), Grovetown,GA & Ryan (Army National Guard veteran “musician” 39th Army Band) Manchester,NH who grew up in Sandown, NH, 3 Granddaughters, 5 granddoggies, 2 grandkitties😊and my chocolate lab Remy.
I realized my dream of living on a ski mountain just over 2 years ago when I moved to Bennington and now live Mountainside at Crotched Mountain. I love skiing, golfing, cycling, hiking (with Remy of course), reading, cooking and watching New England Sports teams.
My favorite phrase is “onward & upward!!”
Bon Apetit,
Debbie
