The Peterborough Home for the Aged Opened on November 20, 1909, as a home for citizens who did not have family to care for them in their old age.
Since the inception of the Home, gifts have continually been made, including furniture, crockery, fuel, groceries, physician services and medicines.
Today, Scott-Farrar continues the to look to the Monadnock community to keep its Non-Profit Mission alive. Financial contributions have helped residents who have moved into Scott-Farrar stay in their home when they outlive their assets.
